Our 35th Annual Rodders Days (Arizona's longest running Rod Run) will once again be open to 1963 and older cars and trucks. This year there will be some exciting changes. We'll be headed to Kitt Peak National Observatory . Make sure you bring your camera for the spectacular views along the way. The pictures you take will make your friends back home realize that they missed a great opportunity to see how lovely southern Arizona is in early May.
The Inn Suites will be our host hotel again this year. They are located just minutes away from the Show'n Shine Car Show on 4th Avenue. You can visit the many unique shops along 4th Avenue and hop on the trolley (oldpueblotrolley.org) and take a trolley ride to the entrance of the University of Arizona. Tour the U of A Campus, shop the U of A Mall, dine at the cafes, or visit the Arizona Historical Museum. The car show is just a start to an exciting, fun-filled day! This is a very popular area with our participants and the community and if you've never attended, you'll be amazed at the number of spectators on the street. During the Show and Shine on 4th Avenue there will be a vendor area with automotive vendors as well as food and drink vendors. If you are interested in being a vendor at our show, click here to request an application.

Fourth Avenue
Things will kick off on Thursday evening with registration for early arrivals. Here you will be able to meet fellow car buffs and enjoy a pleasant Arizona evening.
We will leave on Friday morning from the host motel on a scenic drive . The final stop on the 49 mile run will be at the Kitt Peak Observatory for a tour of the facility and a Mountain Top Burger Burn. You will be back in Tucson in plenty of time for the banquet and annual auction, which includes a Turbo 350 transmission and many other amazing items. Part of the proceeds from the auction are donated to the Tucson Area Hearth Foundation, a shelter for homeless women and their children.
During the show and shine Saturday on Fourth Avenue, we will have a Basket Auction, and door prizes for the participants. There will also be 50/25/15/10 drawings (more prizes than the regular 50/50) and an optional engine raffle. The engine is a detailed Small-block Chevy Engine. The engine raffle is available for entrants only and will be given to the lucky holder of the ticket drawn at the awards ceremony. These items will be on display at registration and tickets will be for sale there, and also on Friday and Saturday during the events. Be sure to take a look and purchase your tickets for a chance to win one of these great prizes.
The awards ceremony will be on Saturday evening after the sit-down dinner. We will once again be giving away our very popular home-made trophies in addition to the People Choice and Committe Pick Awards. A replica Mullins Trailer will be given to one lucky entrant!
Your entry includes a custom designed Rodders Day T-Shirt, Dash Plaque, "goodie" bag, 2 meals at the Burger Burn at Kitt Peak, 2 meals at the Friday Buffet and Auction, 2 meals at the Saturday night Awards Banquet and a chance to win one of our great door prizes, which this year includes a replica Mullins Trailer, donated by Randy's Hot Rods in the Desert.
The entry fee is $75.00 . If you have any questions about our car show, please feel free to contact us by calling Jody at (520) 784-0766.
